ARTIST STATEMENT

My work is a reflection of who I am and the thoughts that somehow always follow me. I capture hazy visions and bring them to life. Some blissful and some frightening. Majority of paintings contain dreamlike features. In my work I find that I always intertwine myself. Flowers, butterflies and hands are symbols that portray growth and change in my life. Primarily I work with acrylics and paint on canvas and wood. Painting inspires me to capture and express my emotions, a way of connecting with oneself.
